Richard Mille recently announced its newest sport watch lineup. The timepieces, which are collected under the umbrella of the RM 07-04 Automatic Sport series, arrive as a notable addition to the Mille catalog, as they are the first in the company’s relatively short history to be designed especially for women.
The super-technical Mille look is entirely intact in the RM 07-04 Automatic Sport, while a CRMA8 caliber beats under the surface. The watch is intended for the pro athlete, and in fact each of the six iterations of the model has a particularly notable name from the sports world behind it, a luminary who contributed to the design and gave it a signature look. Among the names represented by the series are Ester Ledecká, an Olympic skier, and Nafissatou Thiam, a heptathlon and pentathlon specialist.
The materials used to make the watches include quartz and carbon TPT, titanium and sapphire crystal. The timepieces are of course very light — each weighs about 35 grams, with a Velcro-closure sport strap addition little additional weight. The colors used represent the athlete in question. The RM 07-04 Automatic Sport is water resistant to 50 meters.
